With much thanks to Wrigley Wax, I found out yesterday that Donruss did make Diamond Kings from 1992 until 2002. They were no longer part of the base set of cards, but now made as inserts. Here are the Mariners versions of the Diamond Kings for them.
If anyone has any of these, I'm open to a trade for any of them.

Thanks for the kind words! One thing that's interesting about '97 and '98 is that Donruss no longer had a DK for each team. You've got to come up with four Mariner cards from those two years. Me, I got off easy...the Cubs, being the lousy team that they were then, had a grand total of zero DKs among the two years.
