What would you do?

I was think yesterday after the "self-imposed" deadline passed for the Cardinals to make a deal with Albert Pujols. Here is the hypothetical question for you: You are the Owner/GM for your favorite MLB team. Your have the authority to make the trade to get him this year. What would you be willing to give up from your team(the price is going to be steep) to obtain Albert and sign him to a long term contract?

I wonder what will happen with him because most of the big money teams have a high priced first baseman or don't have the finances to make the 10 year/ $300 million deal. As for me, they could have anything from the team, but The King.
