If you don't know the story of Tom Wilhelmsen, then you need to click on his name and read the story.
I think it is awesome that he is trying to make it back. To think the guy was suspended by the Brewers in 2004, and filed for retirement in 2005 at age 21 is amazing. While Tom has had to deal with drug rehab, and being a bartender in Tucson to make ends meet, he is making his comeback. Thankfully Jack Z remembered him from his days in Milwaukee, and called him for a walk on tryout last year. While he hasn't pitched above the A ball level, and probably won't start the season in Seattle, it possible he on the track to make it to Seattle eventually. Here's to hoping that at 27, Tom is on the right track to making it back and being successful in regaining his playing career, and his life to come.
