Desperately seeking Shelly

As we all know, Shelly has been making her rounds on the blogs. I decided enough was enough. This morning, I clicked the link to their website. I found where to correspond with them, and asked about Shelly. I said that if they want to be legitimate followers and contribute to our blogs, Welcome. If they continue to use robot spam programs, we will continue to delete them. If and when I hear back from Shelly I will let everybody see their response. Feel free to hit their blog, and spam them at http://coollectors.blogspot.com

  1. Maybe we should all start spamming her website and see how she likes it. :)

  8. posted a similar comment over on their blog, and got this email response:

    Dear Sir,

We received your comment and as we understand you received a few comments from us by mistake.

We apologize for the inconvenience, and make sure this won't happen again.

If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact me.

    Thanks,

  9. Posted a comment on their blog and received the same email that Dawgbones got. We'll see if that takes care of it.

  10. To mariner1 and others who want to spam her back:

Haven't you heard? The proper procedure is to ignore the spammers (and delete their spam). Responding to them only confirms your address as an active recipient for their additional spam!

  11. I've been marking them spam, but after the 3rd or 4th time, I sent an email to blogger support saying everybody has figured out they are spam, how many times do we have to mark them as such before you do something. That was on Friday, I haven't received a response.

  12. Looks like Shelly's done. But I'm always wary of actually clicking on those links, and deleting them right away. You never know what they're trying to do.
