The Mariners had a day off yesterday. Today starts a series at the happiest place on earth.
It seems by all reports that Trayvon Robinson's time in AAA Tacoma was short. He only got 4 games with the Rainiers, but with Greg Halman going back down to Tacoma, it seems the kid is coming up. And it won't be too far from his hometown.
It has been thought that another guy could go down too, and Wily Mo Pena would come up too. I don't see why we would bring up two outfielders. It will be fun to see Trayvon make his MLB debut if it's him coming up today.

Thanks again Texas
It looks like today we will see the third member of the big deal from last year come to Seattle. Scheduled to make his MLB debut today is Blake Beavan.
The first guy to make it was Justin Smoak, We saw Josh Lueke for a short time to start this season. Now, the third of four guys that came to us is up to the bigs. The fourth member of the trade, Matt Lawson was sent to the Indians in a deal for Aaron Laffey. Lawson decided to voluntarily retire this past month from the AA Akron Aeros. It did cost us this guy, but we all knew he wouldn't been here after last year anyways.

Good luck to #49 today, maybe the team can get more than two hits today, and not lose on a three ball walk.

Thanks Philly!

I can not tell how cool of a sight it was to see this on my TV last night. I knew he was good from what I've seen of him in the World Series and read about. How does a guy that has been out since early in spring training make one rehab start at AAA come out and be so dominant? I found it awesome that he pitches 7 innings of 3 hit, no run, no walk, 8 strikeouts on 98 pitches nasty. Now if only our pathetic offense could actually hit the ball to support Cliff, Felix, Ryan, Doug and the rest of the pitching staff all would be right Marinerville.
I extend my thanks to you Philadelphia, and Phillies fans for allowing Cliff Lee to come to the Mariners. I hope that Phillipe Aumont, Tyson Gillies, and Juan Ramirez work out for you. I also hope that we can keep Mr. Lee here after the year. If we can hit behind him, he just might stay long term. It would be special to have King Felix and him at the top of the rotation for a long time. Felix takes the hill today, GO MARINERS!!
