It is simple math
While their playoff hopes are still slim, we have found a formula to win. The question is can we get him signed and keep him here long term? Can you figure out the answer to the math problem below before time's up?

Are you ready??
It is that time of year. Except for those of us who are hardcore baseball fans, everyone will turn to football. While I will be watching it too, I still love baseball first. It will be fun to watch the Seahawks start out tonight in San Diego. We will get to see our first glimpses of Tarvaris Jackson on the field as the Hawks QB.
While I know that Tarvaris was not too well thought of for his time in Minnesota, I think given a new chance in Seattle he might be alright. The kid was thrown into the fire, told to sit behind Mr. Sexter in Favre, and was supposed to get better. With his old offensive coordinator here and knowing the system he might shine. I trust him more than Clipboard Jesus Charlie Whitehurst.
Oh yeah, the Mariners stole a victory from the Rangers last night. We should have won 2 of 3, but what else can we do? Just keep going out there, and let's see what happens.
Here's looking at you, and the start of the football season.

No not him. HIM!
I got nothing today, I was thinking that it is funny in Seattle, we've had two guys with a famous name that weren't as famous as the other guy. First to Seattle from 1979 to 1986 with the Seahawks was Michael Jackson.
Then the Mariners had Mike in town from 1989 to 1991 and again in 1996. This Mike played all the way until 2004.
This Mike came to town a few times and played never in a sport. Strange to have two different sport guys with the same name in the same town.
On an unrelated note, the Mariners keep sliding into the abyss. That's 11 losses in a row, and it doesn't look to end soon.

Earn Everything
That has been the Seahawks motto this year, EARN EVERYTHING. Today is the day to earn it. I really think that they can do it in Chicago. I know they are still 8-9 but they are getting hot at the right time. I think Hasselbeck will have a good day, and Beast Mode will be able to run the ball effectively. If the defense comes to play, they will frustrate Cutler and that will start to be his downfall.
Wear a little BLUE today, wave that 12th man spirit and bring next week's NFC Championship game back to the loudest stadium in the NFL-- QWest Field.
Besides, what would you rather see on the sidelines next week when the Packers come to town? I personally would much rather see this:
Than have any part of this invading my television screen.
GO HAWKS!!

Now I've seen it all...
As the old saying in the movie went, I've seen a house fly:
I've seen a horse fly:
I've even seen a dragon fly:
Now I do believe that pigs do fly.
After watching the Seattle Seahawks make history by becoming the first team with a sub-.500 record to win a division. We will see if they can stop the defending Super Bowl Champion New Orleans Saints. I doubt the Hawks will do anything on Saturday, but as Herm Edwards said, "You play to win the game. You don't play to just play it".
I know that all week and on Saturday I will saying a big ol' WHO DAT?

Who would have thunk it??
I can't believe the NFL lately. I know the road conditions are horrible so don't get me wrong, but cancelling a game because of snow? Then the mother of all head scratchers comes last night. All I hear on the news is how Seattle will host a prime time game on Sunday. That's right folks, the Rams at 7-8 are coming to play Seattle at 6-9 in prime time.
Who's with me on this idea??
