Who's it going to be?

We are getting down to the end of the baseball season. We are down to a 3-2 series now.

Will it be these four former Mariners with a ring this year?

Adrian Beltre

Endy Chavez

Mark Lowe

Yorvit Torrealba

Or will it be the lone Mariner with the Cardinals?

Arthur Rhodes

While I would like to see an old guy like Rhodes get a ring, I think the Rangers are too much for the Cards, but we will see.

As most of you know, I collect Mariners. There has been about 15 new Mariners cards to hit the streets in the last few days. Would anybody be willing to help me collect the Mariners I need from 2011 Topps Update? Here a list of the cards in the new series:

US3 Blake Beavan
US28 Adam Kennedy
US30 Dustin Ackley
US67 Miguel Olivo
US91 Brandon League
US118 Michael Pineda
US167 Brendan Ryan
US173 Charlie Furbush
US179 Michael Pineda
US183 Carlos Peguero
US197 Brandon League
US222 Chris Gimenez
US254 Dustin Ackley
US308 Kyle Seager
US327 Blake Beavan

I would be willing to try and trade for any of these, or charity for the Super Set. Thanks in advance to all the great readers out there

Old enough to vote

That's right. On this day 18 years ago, I got married to the greatest woman any guy could ask for.

I still am very much in love with my wife, and I thank my lucky stars that she has stuck by side for this long. Here's to hoping for at least another 18 years of good times. I love my sweetie!

We made the playoffs, kinda...

That's right boys and girls. The Mariners made the the 2011 Post Season.

OK, Maybe they aren't in Mariners uniforms anymore, but all these players once played in the Emerald City.

Cliff Lee

Doug Fister

Freddy Garcia

Rafael Soriano

Arthur Rhodes

JJ Putz

Yorvit Torrealba

Casey Kotchman

Alex Rodriguez

Ramon Santiago

Adrian Beltre

Yuniesky Betancourt

Josh Wilson

Endy Chavez

Raul Ibanez

Willie Bloomquist

Almost enough guys to make a 25 man roster. I'm looking forward to see how the playoffs go when I don't have any team that really grabs my interest to root for.
